Lineas Announces Alban François
as New Chief Operating Officer

Brussels, Belgium – Lineas is pleased to announce the appointment of Alban François as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective November 1, 2024. This strategic transition will see Alban move from his current role as Network Director, where he has successfully overseen Network & Resources Allocation since October 2022.

Alban François joined Lineas in October 2019 as Director of Controlling & Business Intelligence, bringing a wealth of experience from his diverse career, which began in the Belgian Air Force. He has since held key positions in logistics at multinational organizations, including Brussels Airlines and Greenyard. His strong background in finance and network management positions him well to lead our operations as we strive to achieve our business goals.

"Alban's extensive expertise and proven leadership abilities make him the ideal candidate for this pivotal role," said Bernard Gustin, Executive Chairman of Lineas. "As we continue to enhance our operational capabilities and drive forward our customer-centric services, I am confident that Alban will make a significant impact."

Alban will succeed Kurt Coffyn, who has been an integral part of our leadership team. We thank Kurt for his dedication and contributions to Lineas the last 5 years.

"I am excited to take on this new challenge and look forward to working closely with our teams to enhance our operational efficiency and service excellence," said Alban François. "Together, we will continue to position Lineas as a reliable customer centric rail service partner."
